Brenda
(Faith) Co-Founder J.O.S., Director of Worship, Worship Leader, Speaker
Brenda’s faith is the foundation of her life. Conceived through the most tragic of circumstances, Brenda has come to know her true worth, and to fully understand the meaning of being a Child of God.
- Born to an intellectually disabled mother and adopted into a loving pastor’s family at the age of one
- Worship Leader for Journey of Sisters worship team Harmony
- Currently writing and working on upcoming solo album
- Featured in D Magazine as one of the top Five Most Beautiful Women in Dallas
- Selected as the Spokesmodel for a High End Dallas Boutique, airing on WFAA and the WB.
- Print model seen in Vogue, Allure and Lucky Magazines
- Graduate of the University of North Texas
- An active member of her church where she is on the praise team and a featured soloist, serves as a greeter, Women’s Ministry volunteer, former Campus Team Leader, C3 Leadership Conference volunteer, Drama team

Callie
(Grace) Co-Founder of J.O.S., Director of Operations, Bible Teacher
Callie is a Bible teacher who talks about living life to the fullest by accepting God’s grace, living authentically, and persevering daily. Realizing God’s promises offer not only amazing freedom but an eternal future, Callie uses the study of His Word to help women understand that only Christ is able to fill the gap in their lives.

- Completed her Master’s Degree at Northeastern Louisiana University
- College basketball player (attended Louisiana College on a full basketball scholarship)

Amanda
Bible Teacher & Worship Team
- Received her MA in Media and Communication from Dallas Theological Seminary

- Former Young Single’s Women’s Associate on a megachurch staff
- Former DTS Conference Coordinator and Editor of DTS Leadership Magazine
- Led worship for DTS chapels, events, and seminars
- Summa Cum Laude graduate of Dallas Baptist University (Music and Communication double major)
- Featured vocalist in worship team “Harmony”
- An active member of her church where she serves as a women’s Bible study leader and is involved in the young married’s ministry

Christy
Bible Teacher & Worship Team
- Director of Women’s Ministry and Mission Trip Coordinator at Dallas Baptist University
- Assistant Director of Baptist Student Ministries at DBU
- Recently received Master Degree in Arts in Christian Education from DBU
- Graduated with a Bachelor of music from DBU
- Bible teacher and author of several Bible studies
- Singer, writer, teacher, drama and worship leader.
- Traveled to several countries leading mission trips including Guatemala, Peru, England, Swaziland, South Africa, and Macau
- Currently teaches in the college Sunday school and leads worship for the college group at her home church in Cedar Hill, TX.

Lisa
Sign Language Artist
- Was born with Down Syndrome
- Discovered her gift of sign language at the age of 24
- Women of Faith featured guest 2005, 2006, 2007 (over 25 conferences)
- Had one lesson in sign language and has been self-taught since then
- Practices sign language 3-4 hours a day
- Signed with Sandi Patty, Kathy Tricolli, Avalon, BeBe Winans, and Sheila Walsh
- Featured on the Dr. Phil Show
- Toured in 2009 with David Foster & Charice Pempengco in Chicago, Ft Lauderdale and L.A.
- Entertained at international Best Buddies events
- Guest performer at Governor and First Lady of California Women’s Conference
- Appeared in concert with Sandi Patty
- Featured in three books last year alone
- An active member of her church where she is a greeter and volunteer

Kristi
Counselor, Speaker, Pianist
- Received her Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of North Texas
- Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC Supervisor
- Author of continuing education programs for LPC’s
- Former elementary school teacher and counselor
- Gave birth to five beautiful girls (Caroline and Alexandria are now with Jesus)
- Her family’s testimony was nationally syndicated in over 70 newspapers and national magazines across the country
- Family chauffeur, cook, and laundry specialist
- Pianist
- Worked with Southwestern Medical School and Children’s Hospital to create a Filial play therapy camp for chronically ill children and their families
- Enjoys scrap booking and designing and sewing clothing
- BA and MS from Baylor University
- Active member of her church where she speaks and leads Sunday School

Heather M.
Speaker
- Founder and Executive Director of the international ministry Global Hope
- Internationally known Christian speaker
- As a 23 year-old missionary in Afghanistan, Heather was kidnapped by the Taliban and held prisoner for over three volatile months that included 9/11/2001
- Spent the last seven years as a missionary in a war-torn country
- Co-Author of the book Prisoners of Hope
- Featured guest on over 10 Women of Faith Conferences
- Graduate of Baylor University

Gloria
Speaker, Ventriloquist, Humorist
- Miss Texas 1982 (and television emcee for the last 25 years)
- Talent award winner at Miss America pageant
- Married for 25 years
- Sunday school teacher for 16 years
- Comedian and speaker
- Award-winning ventriloquist (performing since the age of six)
- Performed with Bob Hope, LeAnn Rimes, and Nolan Ryan
- Proud mother of four children who all love the Lord
- Graduate of Texas Christian University
- Active Member of her church where she teaches high school sunday school

Alai
Speaker
- Currently working on undergraduate at DBU
- Youngest “sister” in the journey
- Sudanese refugee
- Speaks three languages
- Received school awards for volunteer service and accomplishments
- Featured in the newspaper for her story of being raised in Sudan and Egypt
- One of nine children
- Active member of her church, where she is involved in youth, mission trips, and volunteering at the Trinity Food Bank

Heather C.
Harpist
- Founded the Rockwall School of Music
- Accomplished 25 year harpist
- Prison Ministry volunteer (speaker, harpist)
- Former elementary school teacher
- Wife to a Dallas Fire Chief
- Has overcome learning disabilities (associated with Neurofibromatosis) to successfully graduate from the University of Texas
- Active member of her church where she has been involved in women’s, youth, and music ministries

Liz

- Completely self-sufficient (and God dependant) full-time student working two to three jobs
- Active member of her church where she is involved in children’s ministry and has been a small group leader for youth girls

Kristi B
Worship Leader, Speaker
Kristi’s amazing testimony is one of God’s provision, forgiveness and grace. As a young child in a single parent home she grew to know the Lord as her Father, comforter, and friend. Kristi is a gifted worship leader, speaker and songwriter who truly radiates the joy of the Lord. Through her contagious smile and gentle spirit she invites others to join her in praising the one she adores.
