Love Letter From Jesus

My Precious Beloved,

You are finally here. I have waited for you, yearned for you, and ached for you. I have dreamed of you and planned out our life together. I have loved you from the beginning of time with an everlasting love, and now you are mine.  You are beautiful. Every time I look at you I weep with joy and smile with pleasure, because I am mad about you. My thoughts about you are vast and precious, and I long to sit and pour out my very soul to you. I want our hearts to be knit together, woven as a three-cord strand of love, truth, and faithfulness. And I want you to know you can trust me. My plans concerning you are good. I will protect you; I will counsel you and watch over you. You are in my care now and I will never let you go or let anyone take you from me. How I love to be near you and hold you with my strong arms. I want to calm your fears and wipe away your tears. I want to share every moment with you. I want to be the one to meet all your needs.

O precious one, the very thought of you makes my heart beat faster and I sweeten my fragrance in order to draw you to me. I want to dress you in fine clothes and adorn you with fine jewels so that I might show you off and let everyone know, “this is my beloved, and she is mine!” How beautiful you are, O my darling! How beautiful! You could never do anything that would make me love you any more or any less. I love to watch you sleep in peacefulness, but how I long to hear your sweet voice early in the morning, just as the sun begins to rise in all her splendor. May the wonder of the dawn remind you of my love for you, for you alone have stolen my heart.

I have given my all for you so that we may be together. Do not hide your face from me, but turn and embrace me and the love I have to offer. Even at the mere whisper from your lips, I am there beside you. I have loved you so that you may love me and know that I am all you will ever need. Wait for me. O darling, wait for me! I beg of you to forsake all others, ignoring the empty pleasures they promise you. You will be sickened by their deception and defiled by their perversions. Present yourself to me as a beautiful virgin bride, pure and innocent in all her ways. May we be united together by a sacred vow, and through this holy institution, cling wholeheartedly to me, your Bridegroom. With my lips and with my heart I made a covenant: “I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in righteousness and justice, in love and compassion. I will betroth you to me in faithfulness.” Beloved, you are mine forever. I will never tire of loving you. You are perfect. I am enthralled by your beauty. Drink of my love and spend the rest of your days getting to know me. Come away with me, my darling! Come away!
